ABoyer_LessonPlanWe are holding a series of seminars in six FEMA regions this summer which will focus on the issue of off-campus fire safety. This program is for anyone involved in educating students about fire safety, including campus fire safety officials, housing officers, community liaisons, fire chiefs and fire prevention specialists.

Since 2000, more than four out of five campus-related fire deaths have happened in off-campus housing where most of the students across the nation live. This seminar will provide you with tools to help address this problem, including a copy of The Alarming Truth film, as well as strategies that you can use when reaching out to students in your community.

This is a free seminar, made possible through funding from the Department of Homeland Security Fire Prevention and Safety Grant Program. Click on a location below to register.
